a pattern remix

So here is a top that I made from my 1 hour dress pattern
\
I just added ruffles and made it shorter for a dress.

It's a McCalls Pattern 9172 and I just recently made a dress from it.
I just finished the shirt then I drew lines on it so I knew where to attach the ruffles. And you have to run out and get this marker, it is great, it writes on fabric so easy and it disappears as soon as you iron it. Isn't that great? I sure does beat trying to spray it with water.
Then I just added the ruffles and created a sashing.
So here we are...a cute spring top!
I'm going to submit this into the pattern remix contest

And also:
make it wear it

Thanks so much for looking!
