Happy Fall Yall!

I am ready!
The DIY Show Off  I am so inspired by all the fall  parties going on!
They are having a fall festival so I thought I might as well join in!   Also The French Cupboard is hosting a handmade harvest party!  So check out what I have:

This year I decided to put everything in one place. I don't like things to look cluttered through out my house so I decided to put it all on my bakers rack. I love it!

Here is a little sack type "thingy" or baggy?  I don't really know, I stitched the trick or treat and made a bag out of it. Now I just stuff it with plastic baggies and now it's just decoration.

and I love my froggy! I made this wall hanging myself!

The applique's came from chitter chatter design but the layout is my own design.

And I love my pumpkin patch wall hanging! It is perfect for fall! Thats it for now, thanks for looking!

Get a Hobby!

Hobbies help you improve your mental health and well being because  you're engaging the creative network in your brain, you are challenging you mind and keeping it sharp. Its also a stress reduction. You both need to find happiness in the things that you enjoy and since happiness is contagious it will rub off on your spouse. You also need to give your spouse space so they can enjoy things they love to do, its important to keep your identity in a marriage! You can still "find yourself" while being married. People making masks as well as others picking up new hobbies due to quarantine and with Christmas around the corner this might even be on your list! So are you looking to buy a sewing machine? If you are in the market for a new Sewing machine you might be a bit perplexed with all the different features. In fact sewing machines range from $100 up to..well there are some in the $12,000 range! So I'm going to keep it simple and share 3 key features to look for in your sewing machine investment. 1. Needle up/down feature : This means when you are sewing a project and you stop you can indicate that you want the needle down into the project so your fabric stays in place when you need to pivot or make adjustments to the fabric. 2. Automatic needle threader : this saves time (and frustration) by threading the needle for you. 3. Needle position right to left: This allows you to stitch

Car seat canopy covers

This is a must have in the summer heat I had a summer baby, born in July!  And I wanted her to have privacy when out in public but there was no way I was going to drape a blanket over her so as a sewer I came up with a solution! Moms are problem solvers!
