Car seat canopy covers

This is a must have in the summer heat
I had a summer baby, born in July!  And I wanted her to have privacy when out in public but there was no way I was going to drape a blanket over her so as a sewer I came up with a solution!

Moms are problem solvers!

Netted Car Seat Covers

I'm BAAaAck.
I recently (almost 2 years ago) had a summer baby!  I didn't want to cover her in a regular car seat cover because it was around 98 degrees every day.  Despite the heat I  wanted some type of barrier against the world so I created a breathable mesh car seat cover. It was perfect because I had something to protect her from unwanted hands, germs, etc and people could still see how adorable she was.
Everywhere we went people would comment on  how  neat it was and ask where I bought it.... Well, I actually made it! Now that she is a little older I'm able to find time to make a couple  more.

I love the cherry fabric! Its perfect for summer.

And I made this giraffe cover using Riley Blake fabric

So sweet for a baby boy.
